A Must Read for Everyone in Agriculture
Special thanks to Bryan Bjerke, our public relations director here at Paulsen Marketing, for helping me update this blog with a must read essay for everyone associated with agriculture. It is written by Mike Rowe, star of the popular cable TV network program, Dirty Jobs.
Rowe was a keynote speaker at last fall’s national Future Farmers of America (FFA) convention in Indianapolis. I also had the opportunity to hear Mike Rowe address important issues facing our livestock industry at the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association (NCBA) annual convention in San Antonio earlier this year.
I think anyone who is involved with agriculture will find this essay provocative and informative regarding the challenges our industry faces today. Be sure to check it out at http://www.mikeroweworks.com/mikes-office/farming/.
Thanks for taking a moment to read this excellent essay.
Just returned from a whirlwind trip to Washington D.C. with my 92 year-old father as part of the South Dakota Honor Flight Program. Over 100 World War II veterans participated in this two-day tour of numerous war memorials and museums in our nation’s capital. What a tremendous and memorable experience!
I’ll provide more details and photos in my next blog entry.
Until then….
See you “On the Road!”
